Food Storage

To all those who have discerning eyes to see and ears to hear, there are very difficult days ahead. We need to be prepared in order to achieve victory.

Below are a few excerpts from a talk by Ezra Taft Benson called, Not Commanded In All Things. This talk helps me exercise more faith in God by doing my best first, and then God will do the rest. If I do everything I can do, then God will perform the miracle and reveal the victory. You can find the full talk in Benson's book, An Enemy Hath Done This, which is one of the best books ever.
"Usually the Lord gives us the overall objectives to be accomplished and some guidelines to follow, but he expects us to work out most of the details and methods. The methods and procedures are usually developed through study and prayer and by living so that we can obtain and follow the promptings of the Spirit...

...Sometimes the Lord hopefully waits on his children to act on their own, and when they do not, they lose the greater prize, and the Lord will either drop the entire matter and let them suffer the consequences or else he will have to spell it out in greater detail. Usually, I fear, the more he has to spell it out, the smaller is our reward.

...For years we have been counseled to have on hand a year’s supply of food. Yet there are some today who will not start storing until the Church comes out with a detailed monthly home storage program. Now suppose that never happens. We still cannot say we have not been told.” - Ezra Taft Benson, (Not Commanded In All Things)

Don't get overwhelmed. Just do what you can do.
Do your part, one step at a time with the help of God, and God will do the rest.

Do your best and God will do the rest.

    Liberty will triumph!

There are a lot of different ways to store food and a lot of different products.

Learn as much as you can about storing food and getting prepared and do what you can do as you exercise faith in God step by step.

You can't do everything at once but do something.

As you do what you can, God will work miracles and before you know it you will be a lot more prepared and other areas of your life will improve. Focus on what's most important and the other things that are less important will take care of themselves with God's increased help and power in your life. God will work the miracle when you trust in him and not in your own human understanding.

Miracles will happen as you exercise faith.
